A DELIVERY driver was arrested for working in the UK illegally after picking up another whose vehicle was seized by police on a New Forest road.
Officers had pulled over the first driver on the B3078 Roger Penny Way, near Fordingbridge, around 3.30pm last Friday and found he was an uninsured non-licence holder with 12 penalty points.
The 31-year-old man from Reading was drinking from an open can of beer at the time, but an online police post afterwards said he passed a breath test.

However, the officers were alerted to another potential offence when a fellow delivery driver arrived to collect the man and his cargo.
The 41-year-old man from Surrey was arrested on suspicion of entering the UK lawfully without leave but remaining beyond the time limit.
After being taken into custody, he was handed over to Immigration.
On the same road that day, police also spotted a local male with a provisional licence driving illegally. A file was submitted for summons.
