The Dance Bank is located in the city’s Elgin Industrial Estate and caters for all ages.
It recently announced that its senior team has qualified for the Starpower National Talent finals, which will take place in Orlando, Florida in June.
The girls recently travelled to London for a qualifier event, finishing as the overall highest scoring group.
Teacher and choreographer Louise Mcgurk said: “They’re a very hard-working bunch and they’re really excited for Florida. For us it’s mostly about representing Scotland, and the dance school. This years competition’s over five days, which is quite a while to do stuff too.
“Coming back from America last time they were on a high because they did so well, but it didn’t stop their work ethic.”
Last year’s competition took place in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Louise continued: “When we were there we were the only international team and the others were all from the States.
“The girls ended up qualifying for the highest scoring champion group which was cool because the standard was really amazing.
“We have three different competition teams including minis, juniors, and seniors. We’re hoping that all the teams will continue like this.”
