Charlotte Crosby showcases Sunderland in Rightmove video

The video from Rightmove is a playful parody of typical glamorous property shows, and aims to shine a spotlight on the charm of Sunderland.

The Geordie Shore star tours the city and shows off the range of properties available on the real estate site.

Sunderland is a popular choice for prospective buyers in the North East, ranking in the top three locations.

However, when it comes to city life across Great Britain, Sunderland ranks 38th out of 50 of the country’s largest cities.

Data from Rightmove reveals that Sunderland’s average asking prices are 53 per cent lower than the national average, making it an attractive choice for buyers.

The average home in Sunderland is listed for £170,635, compared with the national average of £360,197.

Charlotte Crosby said: “Sunderland is my home – always has been, always will be.

“I’m thrilled that Rightmove is showcasing all the amazing things my hometown has to offer, from stunning coastline views to a variety of homes for first-time buyers and families.”

Rightmove’s survey of 9,600 home-movers found that access to green spaces, proximity to top schools, and affordability are the top priorities when choosing a place to live.
