Due to strong winds, some areas of the outdoor market have been restricted and the stalls that have been able to open are limited.
The Bury Times understands that there has been a partial closure of Edward Block on the outdoor market after the roof structure suffered damage earlier today.
The row has been cornered off with red tape as repair work is being carried out.

Bury Council anticipates that the market will be fully open tomorrow once the storm has passed and will be providing an update later today.
A spokesperson for the council shared that they have attended a number of incidents around the borough today, including clearing a tree that has fallen adjacent to Kay Gardens.
The pavement outside the Corn Market building at Haymarket Street and Broad Street has been cordoned off due to “first floor windows being broken.”
They added: “Our tree teams have also been dealing with a tree down in the road in Bury New Road, Radcliffe, and responding to other calls about branches and small trees down.”

A spokesperson for the market said: “Due to the strong winds from Storm Eowyn, some areas of the outdoor market are restricted and the stalls that are open are limited today.
“We apologise for the inconvenience. We will issue a further update later regarding trading on Saturday. Currently we anticipate the market to be fully open.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
Fairfield Primary School in Bury closed its doors today due to “staff shortages” linked to the weather.
Edenfield animal charity Bleakholt has also closed for the day, sharing that its animals will be having a “duvet day” due to the weather conditions.
Met Office has an amber weather warning in place for parts of Bolton and Bury, with other parts of the region being subject to a yellow warning.
