Mark and Debie Daniels will take over the Brewery Inn on Bye Street next week after leaving the Brewers Arms in Worcester earlier this month.
Mr Daniels said the time was right to move on and couldn’t wait to meet the Ledbury locals.
The Brewery Inn is expected to re-open next week, with Mr Daniels set to provide updates on Facebook in the coming days.

He said he and Debie were relishing the opportunity to make a fresh start.
“The dynamics had changed at the Brewers Arms, we were quite near the university but there weren’t as many students around, and we felt a change after Covid.
“We just felt given all the factors the time was right.
“We have always wanted to move into Herefordshire so when the opportunity came about we just jumped at the chance.
“We want to focus mainly on creating a sports pub, that is what we have experience in, as well as creating that community feeling.
“Speaking to some locals, we have realised there isn’t a lot for children to do within a pub setting, so we are looking at putting in a bouncy castle and maybe a climbing frame to make it a bit more family-orientated.
“We are going to use all our experiences and strengths to make this pub a success, we want it to be very community-led, at the Brewers Arms raised thousands for many local charities.”
The Brewery Inn will be looking to sell fresh rolls, pork pies and sausage rolls to start with, with the possibility of more food to come.
Mr Daniels has added a television to the game room, which features a pool table and darts board.
He also wants to welcome pop-up food vendors for events and hold music in the pub and in the garden.
But he added, that after local residents raised concerns that loud music may cause disruption, he will ensure all events of that nature will be out of the garden by 10pm.
Mr Daniels said the response to his Facebook post revealing he is moving to Ledbury has been phenomenal. He added: “We will be exactly the same as we were at the Brewers Arms, friendly, listening to what people want and creating a place where customers aren’t going to get any bother and can get a drink and watch some sport.”
