Flooding of roads and farmland is possible, according to the Environment Agency.
A spokesperson for the EA said: “We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from Highley to Tewkesbury.

“Locations affected are Stourport, Holt Fleet, Worcester, Kempsey, Severn Stoke, Upton upon Severn, South Quay, Diglis Parade and Hylton Road towpath. Flooded drains may affect the racecourse and Worcester County cricket ground.”
The high water level at Bewdley is expected to peak at around 3.7m to 3.8m on tonight (Tuesday January 7), with peaks predicted tonight at Worcester (4.4m to 4.9m) and Diglis (4.0m to 4.5m),and this afternoon at Kempsey Yacht Club (6.8m to 7.0m) and Saxons Lode (5.0m to 5.1m).
The EA said: “Further rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours, and we may see river levels rise again over the next few days. We are closely monitoring the situation.”
River Stour water levels also remain high at the Puxton river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall and snowmelt, with flooding of roads and farmland at Caunsall and Stourport expected to continue.
Th EA said: “We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from Caunsall to Stourport. Other locations that may be affected include Wolverley and Cookley, Blakedown and Kidderminster.”
Meanwhile, flood warnings for the River Stour at Kidderminster and Stourport have been removed.
