The most popular paid attraction in the North East is searching for a fresh crop of people to join its team as we move into the new year.
With seasonal vacancies listed on their website, you could be doing everything from frying chips on a period-appropriate coal-fired range, to making decisions about the future of the museum on their board of trustees.
Here are some of the roles that you can apply for right now – do you think you have what it takes to work at this world-renowned museum?
1. Outdoor Activity Co-ordinator
Beamish is looking to recruit an outdoor activity co-ordinator to focus on delivering exciting experiences for visitors, in particular overnight camping.
The job advert says: “Do you love the outdoors and creating memorable experiences?
“Plan, co-ordinate, and deliver exciting outdoor adventures, with a focus on overnight camping stays!”
2. Assistant Learning Co-ordinator (STEM)
They are also looking for somebody to develop science, technology, engineering and maths activities for school trips as well as family days out.
