Award-winning production of La Boheme coming to Basingstoke

Senbla will present Opera International’s production of La Bohème at The Anvil on Wednesday, February 12, at 7.30pm.

The production, directed by Ellen Kent, will feature the Ukrainian Opera & Ballet Theatre Kyiv, along with international soloists, a highly praised chorus and a full orchestra.

La Bohème, known as one of the most romantic operas, depicts the tragic tale of the doomed Mimi and her love for a penniless writer.

She said: “I am delighted to be working with the Ukrainian Opera & Ballet Theatre Kyiv again, after the huge success of the 2023 and 2024 tours.”
