Asda announces grant funding for outdoor community spaces

Van Ward Allotment in Caerphilly has previously received funding from Asda Foundation

The Asda Foundation has announced £500,000 worth of grant funding to be used on improving community spaces.

Up to £3,000 can be applied for by grassroot community groups who plan on transforming their local outdoor community spaces.

This grant is for projects which meet at least one of the following aims:

  • Transform an outdoor area, creating greener and more engaging community spaces.
  • Create or enhance community growing projects.
  • Enable community clean ups.

Grants for community clean ups will be capped at £500.
