Annual model railway exhibition returns to Maritime Museum

The annual Kilmarnock District Model Railway Club event will be held on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, providing plenty of entertainment for young and old alike.

A spokesperson for the long-running club said: “We will be exhibiting our O Gauge Bakers End layout, a brand new DCC 00 Gauge Layout yet to be named and Wards Way, the ever-popular self-drive Thomas themed layout.

“Visiting layouts from Ayr MRG, Renfrewshire MRC and Greenock & District MRC will be on show. Dave Coddington will again evoke nostalgia with his vintage Hornby layout.

“Private layouts will be on show by Tam Gault, and Paul Slyfield. Douglas Sutherland will bring along his tramway layout.”
