Acting on behalf of Ribston, B8RE has signed up Aktrion Group to a 57,000 square-foot facility on Taylor Business Park in Culcheth.
Automotive services supplier Aktrion’s move will be a central base to enable the company to undertake automotive services for fleet vehicles at both Manchester and Liverpool airports.
Following the acquisition of the industrial park in 2018, Ribston has been proactively asset managing the estate and has carried out comprehensive refurbishment works on units which have become vacant.
This has resulted in strong occupational demand from local and national businesses, which have been attracted to the estate because of the quality of the product provided and the location.
Speaking about the letting, Will Kenyon, director at B8RE, said: “Warrington is a prime logistics area with excellent connectivity to the regional and national motorway network.
“Taylor Business Park benefits from 24/7 gated security, and the quality of unit and easy access to both major north west airports were also key reasons of Aktrion’s decision to move here.”
Adam Morgan, asset manager at Ribston, added: “This transaction concludes the refurbishment and letting of around 100,000 square-feet that was previously occupied by Jungheinrich across three buildings on the park.
“Each building was remodelled and fully refurbished, and they have been let to a range of national occupiers who have been attracted to Taylor Business Park due to the location, high-quality accommodation and landscaped surroundings.
“We continue to invest in the business park and have recently completed the refurbishment of multiple 2,500 square-foot units that have become vacant, as businesses have expanded into larger premises on the business park.”
