A number of flights departing from and arriving at Aberdeen Airport this morning have been cancelled.
According to the airport’s website, five departures were scrapped, including the 6.40am flight to Manchester, the 8.20am flight to Stavanger, the 8.50am flight to Bergen, the 9am flight to Amsterdam and the 10.30am flight to Heathrow.

Long delays to other departures were also experienced, with the 6.35am service to Birmingham postponed for nearly four hours to 10.13am and the 6.45am service to Norwich delayed until 10.28am.
Flights to Heathrow and Kirkwall were also delayed by more than an hour.
Taking to social media, a spokesperson for Aberdeen Airport confirmed that services have now resumed.
The airport’s website also records five flights, expected to land at the north east travel hub, which were were called off.
The 7.50am flight from Stavanger, the 8.20am flight from Bergen, the 8.30am flight from Amsterdam, the 9.40am flight from Heathrow and the 9.45am flight from Manchester were all scrapped.
Numerous arrivals at the airport have also been delayed, including the 8.10am flight from Heathrow, the 9.20am flight from Sumburgh, the 9.50am flight from Birmingham and the 9.55am flight from Norwich.
