Some people may warm up with a nice cold pint at the pub while watching whatever sport is on, while others may choose to spend the afternoons at home scouring through streaming services endlessly for that perfect film to watch.
However, some may be looking for a fun and unique way to spend their weekends, and Worcester has plenty to offer in that department.
Here are our picks for the top activities in the faithful city.
Mr Mulligans, WR1 2QE
This games venue opened in 2022 on the High Street and gives visitors the chance to play crazy golf, shuffleboard, pool and more – as well as a bar and restaurant.
The most recent addition to Mulligans is a karaoke room, which has been sound-proofed to protect anyone playing games from some potentially unsavoury sounds.
The Dart Side, WR1 3QT
The most tedious part of darts for most is the calling and the scoring. Thankfully, The Dart Side’s interactive boards will automatically score as you play with incredible accuracy.
From the traditional games like X01 to the more unusual like Robin Hood, The Dart Side offers eight different modes for players, as well as a stocked bar to help with your focus.
Tenpin Worcester, WR3 7SN
Sometimes the classics are the best options. Tenpin Worcester has an impressive 22 bowling lanes with special lighting effects to really immerse you in the game.
Tenpin also offers numerous other attractions, including a laser tag arena and arcade machines.
Escape Hunt, WR1 2BY
Just around the corner from Mulligans is Worcester newest dedicated escape room experience.
Escape Hunt offers five experiences, each unique and immersive to their theme, as well as city hunt games that take visitors into the city for an “escape room with no doors”.

If you’re a big kid, The Buzz also offers adult only sessions and even caters for stag and hen do’s.
Odeon Worcester, WR1 1DX
The pictures have been a popular choice to spend a cold afternoon for over a century and, despite more films going direct to streaming, cinemas still bring in thousands of visitors every month.
Worcester’s oldest theatre is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year with a host of classic films returning to the big screen.
Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, WR1 DT
Just across the road from the Odeon is Worcester’s primary museum and art gallery.
The museum is home to artifacts and objects detailing much of Worcester and wider British history and offers an ever-changing selection of exhibitions.
And best of all? Entry is free.
